Hey BTS Run Clubbers…
It’s those Yassoos again this week. It’s pretty hot out there, so ensure you are well hydrated beforehand and also see if you can take some drink with you to sip on between sets.
So here goes with this week set:
  • Warm-up : 3.00 km @ RPE 5
  • Main set : 8 x 0.80 km @ RPE 8/9 with walking recovery 0.20 km @ RPE 2/3
  • Cool down : 1.00 km @ RPE 5
If the heat is too much, increase the recovery or reduce the number of sets to 6.
Try to keep those hard efforts consistent, so don’t go too hard at the beginning as it’s going to tell when you hit rep 7 and beyond.
