So as the season starts to wind up again, and the Duathlons get more frequent, we have a few multi-sport results to quickly update on from the last couple of months.  There has been some good running (Gope, Ed to name a couple) going on too, but in the interests of pure selfishness, I am only covering off the multi-sport events this time up.

Firstly, back on a sunny but chilly February morning at Dorney, Louise Croxson kicked off what will no doubt be her fastest year yet with a win in her age-group, 4th woman overall and the beating of Dame Kelly Holmes.

The Maxifuel Sprint Duathlon was over a 5km/20km/5km distance and Louise finished in 1:18:44, with splits of 21:06, 34:33 and 21:59. Full Results : http://www.stuweb.co.uk/race/zi/

Then after a quick holiday/training session in New Zealand, Louise went back to Dorney this last weekend (6th April), this time for the Gatorade Eton Dorney Duathlon over the same distances.

This time Louise was 2nd woman overall (leading after Run 1) in a time of 1:17:06 (20:47, 31:33, 23:32) Full Results here: http://www.tri247.com/results_14790.html

Sandwiched between these two efforts, Ben Collins got in an early season Tri in aid of Sport Relief on Weds 19th March. Over the slightly odd distances of 400m pool swim, 17km Bike and 6km run, Ben was 10th overall and 5th male in 1:04:15 (6:35, 28:48, 26:44) Full Results here: http://www.racetecresults.com/results.aspx?CId=16421&RId=25
