This year the 25 hours team race is going virtual. Who's in?

To take part in Red Bull Timelaps you need to be 18 years of age or older by 24th October 2020 and must live in the UK.
  • STEP ONE:
Create a Strava account or sign in by clicking the orange 'Connect with Strava' button
  • STEP TWO:
Register your team and fill in your personal details
  • STEP THREE:
Get the rest of your team signed up and start getting ready!

The world’s longest one-day road cycling event will be going ahead as a virtual challenge in teams of four, with the objective to ride as far as you can in 25 hours.

Using Strava to log distance, teams can embrace the elements and hit the road, or compete using a turbo trainer indoors.

Only one rider at a time can contribute towards their team’s collective mileage, meaning strategy is vitally important; especially during the ‘Power Hour’ when the clocks go back at 02:00 BST on 25th October, where all miles ridden count for double.

During the event, teams can track their progress via this page, which will become a live leaderboard.

Follow the steps above to sign up, read the rules and get ready to ride on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October.

Registration for the event closes on Wednesday 21st October at 12:00pm BST so all participants must have completed their individual sign-up by this time, otherwise you will not be able to take part in the event. If there are any incomplete teams (<4 riders) when registration closes you will be contacted and your entry to the event will be cancelled.
