After commenting that June must be the first time that different members of the club have competed in France at the same time at different events, the same thing has happened again in July. Jean-Christophe Vangenot and the Masons once again flew the flag for BTS en France, with the latter gaining his and hers matching 3rd places in AG.
Once again Lesley Kernaghan took out her Age Group at the AJ Bell London triathlon, held at the Excel Centre in East London.
Performance of the month this time around probably goes to new club member Adam Brittain however. Having turned up for a few Wednesday rides to start with, his bike and run speed especially has not gone unnoticed. Competing at the very high quality Outlaw 70.3 Holkham, Adam raced at Elite level, finishing in 8th place with a super fast 4:22! Welcome to the club Adam, be gentle with us! If you would like to read more on Adam’s race, check out his blog HERE
